The Department of Economics offers a well-rounded education, training students in the analytic skills and applications necessary for effective and responsible decision-making, providing them with a sound knowledge of economic theory; the ability to apply economic analysis in administrative positions in both the business and public sectors; and the skills necessary for interacting with the changing environment in which we live.
